How the IVF Due Date Calculator Works

My IVF Due Date Calculator is grounded in the fundamental principles of embryology and obstetrics. Unlike many calculators that require a myriad of details, ours focuses on two essential inputs: the date of your embryo transfer and the age of the embryo (Day 3 or Day 5). This simplicity is by design, as these two pieces of information are the critical drivers in calculating your due date.

  • Conception Date = Date of Transfer – 16 days.
  • Pregnancy Due Date = Conception Date + 40 weeks.
• Day 5 Embryo:
  • Conception Date = Date of Transfer – 18 days.
  • Pregnancy Due Date = Conception Date + 40 weeks.
